Ride the train, tram and subway (for seniors)

    •  Warsaw has an excellent communication network with trams, trains, railbuses and metro.
It is free for seniors over the age of 70.

It is now possible to acquire a card – which gives anyone over seventy – free travel within the whole of Warsaw with zones far outside the city centre, which includes the airports as well.
The card also applies to those who do not live in Poland and do not have Polish citizenship.
You get access to free travel on buses, metro and trams without any time restrictions.
It also costs nothing to get a free card issued, although it can take a long time in the queue to get it. The card is issued at the central station in Warsaw.

What you need to bring with you is a photograph of your face, the angle does not matter, and your identity card (driving license/passport).

You get the card directly on the spot and when you then travel with it you must also have your identity card/passport driving license works fine.

We are happy to help with this. Please let us know before your arrival so we can plan for it.
